SNEAK PEEK!

Our first day will be a full day of education including presentations on cultural sensitivity, dual diagnosis, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and a presentation on Trama Informed Care from Dr. Karyn Harvey. At MACDS we strive to include Direct Support Professionals in our learning opportunities. To that end, for a nominal fee, we will once again be offering the first full day of the conference on live stream! And because we understand firsthand the difficulties of scheduling training while maintaining excellent support, these presentations will be available for one year from the date of the conference to facilitate discussions when you return to your respective agencies.

Day two will bring a continuation of education with a presentation by Collaborative Safety. We will also turn our attention to Advocacy and Legislation with presentations from senior leadership at DPHHS Montana, a panel of representatives from our six-state region and a panel discussion on what is happening in disability services from a national perspective bringing together several representatives from the DC area.

Day three will bring us updates from CMS and an opportunity to be energized and inspired by nationally acclaimed and Speaker Hall of Fame member Steve Gilliland.

We haven’t forgotten networking (or fun) and there will be several sponsored events including a meet and greet on Wednesday evening the 25th in the Gran Tree Atrium and a trip to the Museum of the Rockies on Thursday the 26th evening!

There will be opportunities to meet our sponsors and find out how they support our agencies.
We will also have basket giveaways at the end of each conference day!
